国鉄民営化という流れの中で、「りんてつ」という愛称を正式に社名にしました。京葉工業地帯を結ぶ鉄道が、連綿として守ってきた安全と誇りを新たなロゴに託しました。

At the time the former National Railway became privatized, the Keiyō Coastal Railway modified its name to the Rintetsu Line. The design symbolizes the safety and pride which the railway that connects the Tokyo and Chiba (i.e., the "keiyō") industrial areas has continuously exhibited over the years.

京叶临海铁路在旧国营铁路民营化的社会潮流中把称呼定为“临铁”。连接京叶工业地带的铁路连绵不绝，象征了保持至今的安全和自豪的设计。
